Show Off Your Style With Great Nintendo Wii Accessories and Apparel

...t have if you plan to play on a large screen television.

7. Wireless network adapters, such as the USB wireless device for the Wii system (resembles a USB flash drive and plugs into any USB port) and the LAN adapter, are only necessary if you are not using either a wireless modem or router. If your house is set up for wireless internet access, you are good to go. The Nintendo Wii game system is set up to connect to your Wi-Fi.

8. There are a multitude of controller devices for use with certain games. There are steering wheels for racing games, a tennis racket, golf club, baseball bat, an "archery" type device for Link's crossbow, a gun, and the other day on You Tube I noticed a sword and shield set that attach to your Wiimote! You can get into some serious hard-core gaming with all these gadgets.

9. You can get jewelry and clothing to show off your love of the game. My personal favorite is a very, very soft fine cotton, navy blue T-shirt that says "Mario Bros. Plumbing Company" and has Mario and Luigi on the front. The tri-force logo from the Zelda games is featured on both a necklace and several shirts. The necklace is actually quite nice looking. My girls saw it on my site and now they want it badly. These are teenage girls, mind you, but it is definitely unisex jewelry. You can also find a hilarious belt buckle that looks like the old original NES controller and boxer shorts that feature Good and Evil from the Mario games. There are Guitar Hero shirts now as well. Wallets, underwear, pajamas, hats, shirts, jewelry -- so many choices! I am sure this list will continue to grow with the evolution of the Nintendo Wii gaming system.

From controller skins to shirts to jewelry, the avid Nintendo enthusiast can find cool stuff to satisfy his/her craving for fun.

Super Mario - Then & Now

... of Nintendos first console system was realized.

When I bought my Nintendo Entertainment System Super Mario Bros game was included in its package. The Nintendo had realized the success of the game at first release. I was a great fan of Atari games but was left open mouthed when I saw the graphical and audio improvements seen in Nintendo. The games by Atari had been extremely short with very little depth, but the Super Mario Bros game just kept going and going. The sheer size and scope of the Super Mario Bros game was what really made the Nintendo compete with a large edge with the other competing companie...more

SNES Games Controllers

... SNES games made was Street Fighter II and was probably one of the most popular console games ever invented. Each and every button on the controller was not only used but necessary. It was so nicely arranged for the game that it was truly a new experience. Super Nintendo controller was vital to the game play. Street Fighter II wouldnt have been the same exciting game with any other controller. Sega realized this change, although a bit late, and came out with their new version of Super Nintendo controller for their Genesis. To their luck, the controll...more

New Super Mario Bros. Review

...nd everything in the game and take part in all of the challenges.

Mario has plenty of moves this time round. He will still run, jump and stomp but there are a few more moves that give him more flexibility, and he'll need it to negotiate his way through some of the more deadly platform elements and enemies that he will encounter. A butt bounce will allow him to smash the blocks he's standing on. He can grow large enough to take up the entire screen, which allows him to smash tons of blocks and take care of smaller enemies by trampling them. A mini-mushroom will make Mario tiny and allow him to enter into small places. It will also let him walk over water. A wall bounce lets him scale walls to reach new heights or can be used if he falls into a pit. Platforms will twist, bend, warp, shrink, expand, hover, fall, elevate and destruct. I don't think the developers left anything out. Even the ground will undulate, causing Mario to experience a rippling effect not unlike a ship on a stormy sea. Despite all these new elements and moves, the game doesn't take full advantage of the DS's unique control system - not the touch screen control system or even the dual screen for that matter. The bottom screen is basically used just to display your progress in each level. The touch feature is used almost exclusively to access your power-ups. In other words, there's nothing that you would really miss, control-wise, if this game were released on the GBA. However, the graphics are what really matters and this g...more
